So in about 4 hours I will be at my new job. I will be working customer service at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I honestly don't think it will be a terrible job. I will probably always be busy at the counter and the store does have some pretty awesome deals for employee's. Ohh and I also get a name tag. How authoritative? Yes, it says Katherine and I will probably never get used to anyone calling me that, but still I will be called upon to help those in need.
I remember watching the movie click and seeing that guy jumping and laying on the beds....we aren't allowed to do that, what a bummer, right? I don't think I need a remote control for my life either, but that movie was really sad. Its funny how it can only take something so small to change your life forever. I wish I had a car already. I am not a fan of public transportation. Oh and this city is so freaking dirty. It's almost as bad as Las Vegas. I cannot wait for the spring time though. There are suppose to be a bunch of concerts and art festivals here. I am ready for this snow to go. Something that I have noticed about the store though is that I have never seen a guy work there. I guess that makes sense though because I am suppose to know the difference between Egyptian cotton and something that's French that I am not going to spell out. The first question I was asked was whether I was ok with ladders. Me, being nervous and all of course did not mention my utter clumsiness nor did I mention my fear of heights.
They have Yankee Candles there so it is totally worth the discount. Oh right back to public transportation ( I switch topics too much) I mostly dislike waiting in the cold. Boy is this place cold and snowy. It could be a lot worse though. Thankfully, this is one of their more " milder" winters. One of these days I am going to move someplace warm with an ocean. I am thinking Florida or California. Hopefully once I am done getting my degree the government will see that my needs are met climate wise. The winter does make a good excuse to wear cute pea-jackets, scarfs, and beanies though = ]
