101 Things to do in 1001 Days
.The Project.
This is an idea that I have actually stolen from various other websites and bloggers such as Elizabeth and Michael Green Lately I have been feeling as if my life has been messing something. I feel as if I am not productive enough and I miss being busy. I love having goals for myself so this seemed like the perfect fit. I already have a bucket list, but this mission seems much more active and impulsive. Quite simply one creates a list of 101 things to do, and they are all to be completed within 1001 days (approximately 2.75 years)..
The Criteria.
Tasks must be specific ( no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (represent some amount of work on my part). For every task that I do complete I will take photographs and give a date. I will also give a brief description next to every task that I have completed and will try to have tasks throughout all areas of my life. If I start right now, Sunday January 17, 2010 then I will hopefully have all these tasks done by Monday October 15, 2012.
.1001 Days.
Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple goals such as New Year’s resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities. The tasks I have completed will be written in red.
