Oh my goodness gracious, this is the essence of a fantastic film. This was presented by the director of Pan's Labyrinth, so I somewhat knew I would highly enjoy this. While the whole film is in Spanish it is a complete breath of fresh air for the horror film genre. It was creepy with a happy ending, an almost realistic Tim Burton. I don't know why, but I just enjoy the feel of Guillermo Del Torro, other than Hell's Boy but only because that sucks. Some films I just enjoy the way its edited and presented in the correct lighting. I know it doesn't make much sense, but for me, I guess its just easier to say that I enjoy the feel of it. This also is proof again that the people at RottenTomatoes.com and I think very very similar. Anyways this flick is a must see because it has a wonderful story-line and just is too realistic and horritfic for words. It made me frightened to ever play hide-and-seek again.
